WHAT’S IN A FROZEN NO BAKE DOG TREAT
- GREEK YOGURT – Every dog is different so as long as your favorite pup can handle a bit of dairy, Greek yogurt is packed with tons of protein and probiotics, which are not only safe for dogs but healthier too.
- FRUIT – When I was making these frozen dog paws, I grabbed blueberries, strawberries and a bit of banana. Feel free to mix up your icy dog treat fruits with whatever you have on hand that your dog will like.

HOW DO YOU MAKE FROZEN FRUIT DOG SNACKS?
- Start by grabbing whatever you are going to use to make your poolside snacks.. silicone molds are perfect but if you don’t have access to one, an ice cube tray works just as good.
- In a large bowl, mix together your yogurt and your fruit. Make sure to discard any fruit pieces that may have any defects or look past their prime.

- Using a large spoon, fill in your molds evenly with the yogurt mixture.
- Move your mold to a small baking sheet and then transfer the whole thing to your freezer. Freeze your doggie fruit cups for minimum 5 hours to overnight.

- Once fully frozen, remove your frozen dog treats from their molds and move them to a large zip top bag or airtight container. Serve immediately or return to the freezer until needed.

EXPERT TIPS FOR PERFECT FROZEN TREATS
- Be sure to cut your fruit into bite sized pieces.
- Don’t overfill your molds.
- Before you start making your yummy frozen treats for your dog, prepare space in the freezer. Make sure your baking pan fits and you have plenty of room for it to sit evenly.
- Change up your yogurt flavors! These homemade treats for your dog don’t need to be boring. Experiment with flavors and color combinations because these are supposed to be fun but make sure your yogurt doesn’t have artificial sweeteners!
- Highly suggested to serve these OUTSIDE or in an area where nothing will get ruined if things get messy… like frozen raspberries on your living room rug. (ask me how I know …. )
