Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cooked beet purée
  • 1 cup pumpkin purée plain, no sugar!
  • cups oat flour make your own—see tip above!
  • 1 egg for binding
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Peel and cook your beets in whatever manner works best for you (see above). Once cooked, cut beets into smaller pieces and add to small food processor. Add two tablespoons of water and puree.
  • Mix it all up! In a big bowl, combine beet purée, pumpkin, egg, oat flour and coconut oil.
  • Spoon out dough on a sheet pan covered with a piece of parchment paper.
  • Using a spatula, form dough into a large rectangle (dough should be about 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick).
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until firm and dry on top.
  • Cool completely, Cut into small squares for training treats or larger for snacks.
  • Move your Pumpkin Beet Treats to an airtight plastic bag or container to lock in the freshness after sharing with your favorite furry friend.
